Madison Green

Research & Project Assistant

Madison joined the team through the Indigenous Clean Energy’s (ICE) Generation Power program. Her initial interest in the sector began during her time in the construction engineering program at Fanshawe, and it has only deepened through her involvement in the ICE program. She hopes to empower Indigenous youth by encouraging them to join STEM programs and careers while bringing forward Indigenous knowledge of sustainability. Madison currently lives in Southwestern Ontario and is a member of the Mohawk Nation from the Six Nations of the Grand River reserve with Newfoundland and Irish roots.

When Madison isn’t dancing Fancy Shawl and Jingle Dress, she is sewing the beadwork for her regalia. In her downtime, she enjoys reading a good book and watching a scary movie. Her dream job as a child was to be a Lawyer or a Doctor!

Bringing people together to propel planning, research and climate change policy into the marketplace

As a virtual team that lives and works across these lands also known as Canada, RFS Energy acknowledges the traditional territories of the many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples that have called these lands home since time immemorial. We recognize and honour our treaty relationships and our responsibilities to the land, history and customs of Indigenous peoples with whom we share these lands.

We encourage readers to learn about the Indigenous history of where they live and work and to reflect on their own relationship with the land and what meaningful actions they can take towards reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.
