Emily McIntosh
Research & Policy Advisor
Emily holds a Bachelor's in Biology and Environmental Field Studies from McGill University and a Master's in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po. She brings experience in climate action and resilience at the municipal and federal levels, focused on community-based planning, policy development, and stakeholder engagement. At RFS, she contributes to research, policy analysis, and technical writing, grounded in how climate policy intersects with local context, equity, and implementation realities.

Based in the mountain town of Golden, BC, Emily likes to spend her free time exploring the nature around her. She loves hiking and canoeing in the summers and skiing and touring in the winters. As a certified canoe guide, Emily is just as comfortable reading a river as she is reading a policy brief. When she's not at her desk, she's either on the river or the mountain.
