Before joining RFS Energy, George has held key leadership roles in private-sector implementation companies as well as with a non-profit organization specializing in energy efficiency program administration. In these roles, he designed and executed energy efficiency programs that consistently met or surpassed performance targets.

 

When he isn’t surfing the waves in Nova Scotia, George can be found camping, mountain biking, or working on developing a worm compost system. His passion for sustainable agriculture and permaculture, primarily making food production systems more environmentally sustainable and economically feasible, dates back to his university studies in plant science. This interest extends into a broader fascination with science, from biology to physics, in pursuit of understanding the complex and mind-bending realities of the universe.
